With the launch of OEE Impact Connect, it is claimed that the software, with new features, is easy to install and connect with data collection terminals.
The OEE Impact data collection terminals have an optional Ethernet Wi-Fi capability, that is said to allow users to move real time data collection terminals from machine to machine when required, saving money on fixed units.
The software includes the open database interface in the price, which is said to allow data to be exchanged with SCADA, ERP or other third party systems to allow population of OEE Impact's database through an XML interface.
Gemba added that there is no charge for the number of network users (clients).
OEE Impact Connect's report builder is the heart of the software and comes with 200 standard reports that can be fine tuned without specialist computer skills.
There is a built-in email interface to send reports to colleagues and reports can be saved in a BMP or Excl format.
Reports can be as required by using an automated date range function.
The company also claimed that it is not necessary to buy a SCADA system for displaying real time graphics and downtime monitoring as Impact Connect can build fully animated, real time operational displays.
The product is also said to be able to communicate with most ERP systems.
OEE Impact Connect comes with Microsoft's SQL server database included in the price, as well as all the configuration tools, whilst the number of data points (tags), downtime signals, counts, users, reports, product types and graphic screens are unlimited.
Gemba said that it scales the product price by the number of assets that are to be monitored and that users could be running with OEE Impact for GBP 3,800 ($7,000, or 5,400 Euros) which includes the Connect software and data collection hardware needed to implement the real time data collection and reporting system, with a training course also included.
