A Graphic Whizard product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team Apr 23, 2008

As its first entry in to the UV coating market Graphic Whizard will introduce its Vividcoater off-line flood coater, said to be capable of handling a sheet as small as 13.97cm x 21.59cm (5.5"x 8.5").

The company claimed that the Vividcoater can also process sheets as large as 54.61cm x 66.04cm (21.5"x 26").

With the optional deep pile feeder, the system also has a low pile vacuum feed system.

The machine will be featured on Graphic Whizard's stand - A70 - in hall 13 at the Drupa 2008 exhibition.

Graphic Whizard added that the Vividcoater can be used with the Creasemaster Plus+ or Creasemaster as feeders and, like other of its products, the system incorporates an interactive touch screen that allows the operator to control various aspects of the machine.

The interface also allows tracking of machine use by operator allowing productivity to be monitored.

Machine maintenance schedules and fault code tracking are also built in to the control system.

The Vividcoater also features electronic lamp ballast, PLC driven controls, ascending and descending batch counting and other facilities.

The Vividcoater made its first trade show appearance at the On Demand exhibition held in Boston (USA) last month.
