Direct Mail Producer's Colour Quality
Passes Tests
G I Direct has been awarded the ISO 21647-2 accreditation verifying the company's colour quality procedures meet the targets and tolerances of the standard's specification.
The company is visited every six months for revision training and review for proficiency in printing G I Direct's sales director, Patrick Headley, commented: "We put a lot of resources in to producing consistent standardised colour appearance conforming to the ISO 12647 specification
The quality procedures allow us to submit correct colour samples to our clients who demand to see that we are printing to a specific standard and we are marked accordingly for quality to see if we can remain on their rosters of proficient printers." The accreditation indicates that an organisation uses printing equipment and consumables combinations that have been optimised to the meet standard and that colour measurement instruments are also regularly calibrated and certified by the manufacturer.
