Absoluteproof proofing software is now running in several locations with a range of printing devices and input sources.
Absoluteproof proofing software is now running in several locations with a range of printing devices and input sources According to Absoluteproof's provider, Gimle, the software is working off Celebra and Harlequin imagesetter RIPs, in combination with CTP units and various other input devices
Applications are set-up as colour management hubs at many sites and the software is claimed to have proved to be robust and reliable, automatically picking up files deposited by operators working on their networks.
Absoluteproof is said to be performing wel for various customers, printing proofs from Harlequin, Celebra, AGFA and Panther RIPS to a range of devices.
They include the ranges of printers from Hewlett Packard, Roland and Epson, as well as Xerox laser printers, and the Tektronix, Canon and Minolta laser printers.
