Gimle has introduced the latest version of Absoluteproof Pro.

Gimle has introduced the latest version of Absoluteproof Pro.

The new version not only supports the latest models of inkjet devices but also offers enhanced support for HiFi/multi-colour workflow systems, said the company.

Absoluteproof Pro is designed to take full advantage of the expanded colour gamut provided by Gimle's Extrachrome orange and green inks, whilst the Intelligent Multicolor Engine, which is the core technology of the system is claimed to provide the highest quality colour gamut control for any inkjet device.

Now clients can proof CMYK, spot colours, N-colour, Hexachrome, duotones and tints accurately.

Absoluteproof Pro meets the proofing and output needs of printers, designers, agencies, service bureaux and their clients.

The system with enhanced colour controls also provides vivid colour output for photographers, fine art printers, poster and sign shops, added Gimle.

Hugo Kristinsson, Gimle's chief executive officer, said: "Our customers appreciate our development efforts in providing a cost-effective, press match accurate solution on a Mac OS X platform.

We have opted to offer our system according to the format size of their output device.

The new version has no hidden costs or per-seat licensing fees and includes full support for most popular inkjet models.

The base price also includes halftone dot and remote proofing capabilities.".
