New High Sheer Glue Dots are claimed to provide a secure bond on vertical surfaces.
Major target markets for Dot-O-Matic are the printing and bindery sectors, packaging direct mail and fulfilment houses, as well as point of purchase.
Mike Silson, general manager of Glue Dots International, said: "Applications are numerous, such as securing promotional items to magazine front covers, affixing labels on gift items and for retail display purposes - in fact, any area where a quick and simple fix is required." He added: "The Dot-0-Matic further enhances assembly line productivity and is a natural add-on to our existing Dot Shot Pro hand-held Glue Dots dispenser.
It virtually completes the products family, though we now also have the capability to provide a fully automatic machine." The Dot-O-Matic was showcased at the Packing Innovations exhibition in Coventry.
According to Silson, who is based at Viking's Keighley headquarters, early feedback and interest is promising, with a number of new machines already ordered.
Viking Industrial and Safety Supplies said it has a number of ways of allowing its UK customers to purchase the machine, dependant on Glue Dot usage.
