Amongst the topics that will be discussed include the final results of the GWG/IPA Workflow Roundup, which was conducted in May and which subjected workflow systems from Adobe, Agfa, Artwork Systems, Blanchard Systems, CGS Publishing, Creo Americas, Dalim, Heidelberg, Screen USA, Quark and Xitron to vigorous testing.
The GWG/IPA Workflow Roundup utilised test files that were developed by GWG and designed to address critical issues faced in design, pre-press and print production.
There will also be a tutorial on how to get and easily use the new Version 3 PDF/X-Plus specifications, together with a discussion on how to use brand new packaging specifications.
In addition, there will be a GWG work in progress update, including - colour management in PDF/X-Plus workflows, office document printing and 'Testing the Process' using GWG tests.
