Global Graphics Software has made a number of key appointments to its marketing, product management and technical teams.

Tom Mills has been appointed director of marketing and is based at the company's sales and marketing office in Centreville, Virginia (USA).

He has over 20 years experience in international marketing working both in-house and for agencies and 12 years in software marketing, most recently for French company, Lectra Systemes.

Earlier in his career he was a co-founder of Sundberg, Mills and Demougeot, a marketing services agency that catered for US and European technology clients.

Dan Woodford has been promoted to product manager for the Jaws RIP, whose kernel is embedded onto controller boards inside digital printers and copiers and within software applications, including the Company's PDF creation technology.

Based with the Global Graphics' research and development team at the company's UK headquarters near Cambridge, Woodford's appointment comes at a time when Global Graphics is extending the reach of its Jaws technology into the corporate digital print market as the demand increases for networked multi-function copiers and printers as well as desktop laser and inkjet printers.

For the past six years she has worked as a JAVA specialist mostly developing enterprise-level applications.

Immediately before joining Global Graphics, she worked for AOL Japan as a senior engineer and project manager.

She will report to Yoshiyuki Hagiwara, the director of Global Graphics KK, in providing technical sales support for the full range of software.
