Global Graphics will introduce the latest release of its Harlequin RIP - Genesis Release (v7.1) on February 2.

Global Graphics will introduce the latest release of its Harlequin RIP - Genesis Release (v7.1) on February 2.

The latest release is claimed to build on the features introduced with the Genesis series.

Version 7.1 will offer important new features in PDF and imposition, and will bring an increase in performance to what is already a high-performance processor, claimed Global Graphics.

Used with Global Graphics' JDF Enabler Version 2.0 the new release is designed to be one of the first products to be compliant with CIP4's Layout Creation to Imposition Inter-operability Conformance Specification (ICS), said the company.

Combined with the job management and control of the Harlequin Print Production Manager the workflow-like functions within the Harlequin RIP are exposed in a simple step-by-step process.
