Colour Control Ensures Automatic Start-Ups
Only six weeks after the start-up of its new Lithoman 80 press, German printer J Fink Druckerei has ordered two more Densiweb systems for its existing Lithoman 48 and 64 presses.
They are achieved without any intervention from the operators and with waste and downtime reductions.
According to Grafikontrol, the Densiweb's advantages were so evident and the return on investment so short that J Fink Druckerei was convinced about the opportunity of having the closed-loop colour density control on the existing presses as well.
The speed of reaching the density set-point values of each colour and obtaining the first saleable copy, control steadiness and consequent colour consistency all along job runs are claimed to be the sustem's main advantages.
A Wulf, the technology manager at J Fink, said: "I wasn't aware of Grafikontrol's systems until now but I could immediately test the efficiency and easiness of use of all the systems.".
