Nine years after the installation of 11 colour register control systems on its Geoman towers, the biggest Indian printer confirmed its trust in Grafikontrol.

The first two presses in Mumbai, with a total of 24 towers, are already fitted with the CR20 automatic colour register control.

The system for the following third press in Delhi will be completed by the end of 2006.

Before the end of the year, 45 CR19 cut-off register units will be installed on the presses.

According to Grafikontrol, the expanding Indian newspaper market is more demanding, with higher paginations, faster presses, full-colour prints and the need to reduce paper waste.
