Gradual Software's Switch family of workflow automation systems, including Lightswitch and Fullswitch, will be highlighted at Graph Expo from September 9 -12 in Chicago (USA).

The company said it will unveil its newest product line to the US market, in cooperation with its German partner, Callas Software.

The two companies said they will exhibit together on stand 5358 and demonstrate the synchronicity between their products.

During Graph Expo, Gradual Software will also present Powerswitch that provides automation for scripting and metadata, together with Switchclient, a workgroup client that is claimed to make it easy to deploy automation for a complete workgroup.

The Switch software range, distributed in the USA by Tools4Media, is installed at a number of American firms and is providing productivity, efficiency and cost savings in a variety of production operations, said the company.

Tools4Media offers Switch as a system to provide improved integration in combination with other Tools4Media workflow products.

Gradual Software said that Graph Expo offers an excellent venue for it to highlight the benefits of its automation systems to the American market.

Jointly exhibiting with Callas Software will enable companies to interact with users, as well as potential customers, whilst highlighting the advantages of the Switch family of products.

Olaf Drummer, founder and chief executive officer of Callas Software, said: "We are very pleased to attend Graph Expo with Gradual Software as part of our strategic partnership.

The Switch products offer an ideal platform for our CLI tools.

By implementing Fullswitch or Powerswitch, users benefit from a streamlined integration process of the command line modules PDFinspektor4 CLI, PDFcolorconvert CLI and PDFcorrect CLI." He explained: "It isn't necessary to use script code to connect to the workflow system, which makes the process of checking, validating, correcting and subsequent embedding of missing fonts, as well as colour converting of existing PDF files, so much simpler for users." Frank Loversky, Tools4Media's president, commented: "We chose to add Gradual as a primary portfolio offering because the company offers very flexible and easy to integrate automation software for many types of workflows, including simple PDF pre-flight workflows, Native to PDF workflows and workflows that integrate with other systems.

This flexibility, along with Gradual's excellent support and technical innovation, makes it a company that is a real pleasure to work with.".
