The new generation of Horizon Touch finishing bindery equipment is now available from Graphic Arts Equipment (GAE).

The computer-controlled automated systems are designed for the varied needs of the on-demand, in-house, commercial and trade sectors.

They have a combination of features that include simple icon-based interactive touch-screens for unskilled operator control, remote servo and step-motor driven adjustments for instant hands-free set-ups and they produce very little waste.

GAE said the machines also have big machine features in engineering design, mechanical operations and end product quality.

The specifications of the Touch systems cover a broad band for maximum commercial viability of the end product and have high real-time production speeds for competitive unit cost on longer runs.

The Horizon Stitchliner automated flat sheet collate and saddle stitch three-knife trimming line, the AFC B2 six buckle-and-knife Touch folding system and the BQ-270 single clamp Touch perfect binding machine are also now available from GAE, as are tabletop card printing, cutting and presentation bindery systems from the G.A.E Proficiency range.
