GAE Takes On GBC Laminators And Films In

Uprated for Ipex 2006, the automated Delta 7052 is claimed to operate at speeds of up to 20 metres per minute on stock ranges from 20cm x 20cm to 52cm x 74cm and up to 350gsm.
It features a sheet-counter to save waste and increase productivity and is designed to process the GBC range of films, including Lay-Flat and GBC Hi-Tac Lay-Flat.
Those films are claimed to which provide better lay-flat properties and better adhesion to digital prints with fuser-oils.
The 7052 also features a rapid heat recovery system to maintain a uniform temperature, a pneumatic nip pressure for maximum film adhesion, moveable side guides and an ergonomically designed control panel, said GAE.
Sheet loading and feeding, synchronised sheet separation and an unloader table at the delivery ensure continuous production, added the company.
The Detlas' change-overs between stocks, sizes and films provide a flexible quick turn-round for the mainstream B3/B2 marketplace, it is claimed.
The partnership will combine GAE's established close customer contact within the commercial, in-plant and digital sectors with support from GBC's own UK-based technical team and may also provide a conduit for GBC's many larger format and high volume systems, added GAE.
