Digital Printer Unwind, Stacking Systems On Show

A Graphic Arts Equipment product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team Jan 17, 2008

Unwind and cutter and stacking systems for high-speed digital printers from Lasermax Roll Systems will be highlighted at an open house event at Graphic Arts Equipment.

The event at Graphic Arts Equipment's (GAE) Perivale (UK) showroom from February 5 - 7, follows installations that include the new book production facility at Good News Press.

That involved Lasermax and Horizon automated handling and finishing systems.

Lasermax's managing director Andrew James, commented: "High speed integral digital print production, be it in the secure document environment, or fast turn-round book sector, is a key market with considerable latent growth potential.

GAE is an established and respected systems provider to the graphic arts sector and its portfolio of first class finishing systems is a natural complement to our machines." He added: "The demonstrations during the event will provide an excellent opportunity for printers to examine production options and plan their future investment strategies." GAE's joint managing director, Bryan Godwyn, explained: "Lasermax Roll Systems shares the same customer-focused approach as GAE.

We are witnessing a watershed in the book sector and this partnership brings together an unrivalled selection of cost-efficient, quick-response systems.".
