Graphic Arts Equipment's portfolio was highlighted during its open house event this week, which marked the opening of the company's expanded and refurbished showroom.

Highlights included the first UK showing of the MGi Meteor DP60 Pro and the addition of Hamada's four-colour B3 press.

Also on show were the Marchetti range of table-top drills and creasers, the Horizon AF-406a automated all-buckle B2 folding system and the Lasermax Roll Solutions unwinder sheeter in-line with a Horizon system.

The event included demonstrations of pre-press, job flighting, polyester and metal CTP, litho and digital print, plus every major bindery discipline from cutting and folding to softback and case binding, as well as saddle stitching, wire binding, laminating, drilling, UV coating and trimming.

There were also demonstrations of the Horizon i2i JDF bindery management system.

Joint managing director, Bryan Godwyn, said: 'Our new-look 750m2 showroom presents our whole range in a clear-to-see workflow providing customers with the ability to readily view the mix we have on offer.'.
