Mag And Catalogue Printer's Gapless Goss Presses
One of the largest magazine and catalogue printers in North America has ordered two new gapless web presses and three finishing systems from Goss International.
The new C700i press system will be dedicated to the production of regional and national advertising inserts for the Canadian and U.S.
markets.
The new press system employs latest generation C700i printing units, 2:5:4 folder performance with enhanced quarterfolder capability and latest reelstand and high-speed heatset dryer technology.
The press will provide Quebecor World's Retail Group with additional high-quality insert color capacity.
?This investment in a new press will enhance and strengthen our coast-to-coast North American retail platform,? said David Blair, Vice-President Manufacturing, Quebecor World Inc.
The Port Coquitlam facility is owned 50/50 by Quebecor World and Web Press Graphics.
Gary Proudfoot, principal partner of Web Press Graphics currently utilizes both a Goss C500? and a Goss Community Press.
?The choice of the Goss C700i was due to our high comfort level with the company, the product and the lifetime Goss service capability,? said Mr.Proudfoot.
