Goss International announced that it will have a major presence at Drupa 2004 in May and will present future concepts to drive print.

Amongst the products highlighted will be the GATF InterTech Technology Award-winning Digital Inking System.

It is proven both on new presses and as press upgrades to improve print quality, reduce ink usage, raise production efficiency and reduce press set-up and waste, said Goss.

The latest generation Digirail Digital Inker is now available on most of the Goss press range from the Universal through to the Goss Colorliner.

The new Automated Press Control System Console features a linked on-board unit and folder control panels for simple set-up and full press diagnostics.

It is available on new presses and for retrofitting to existing machines as a console, or with additional press management information system (PICS) software.

The full range of Enhance products, from folder upgrades to automatic cylinder lubrication and unit inching will also be featured.

The Goss stand in Hall 17 will present single, double and triple wide press options to meet any printing scenario.

The company will also feature a range of press four-high footprints.

The company believes it is a world leader in four-high tower additions on Goss presses as well as on presses from other suppliers, with well over 50 such projects completed worldwide.

Goss will have presentations and information on all newspaper press systems including the Colorliner, Global Newsliner, Uniliner, Universal and Community ranges.

The Goss Technology Theatre will stage various presentations to showcase individual Goss technologies and also a future printing system that is said to tackle the needs for running a successful newspaper publishing and printing operation, solving the format quandary and allowing truly flexible production.

The daily schedule will include specific technology updates on subjects such as digital inking, amongst many other topics.
