Goss will showcase its press and print finishing technologies portfolio at the second All in Print show, Shanghai (China) from June 14-17 The new generation Magnum 40, single width, one-around press will be demonstrated in Shanghai

The Magnum 40 incorporates the latest Goss 2:1 jaw folder with multi-web function and shaftless technology, along with the enhanced Goss press controls and workflow management system.

Its rigid and modular unit structure, automation and folding technology are claimed to deliver reliability, flexibility and efficiency to newspaper and semi-commercial printing operations.

Jiefang Daily, Nanfang Daily and other Chinese newspapers have just joined the Goss Magnum 40 users club.

The company said that commercial printers can discover the latest developments to Goss's commercial press series, including the gapless Sunday press range, the M-500 and the M-600 which has sold over 2,000 units worldwide.

A selection of Goss's newspaper presses will also be highlighted in Shanghai including the Newsliner, Universal, Magnum and Community presses that have been chosen by hundreds of newspaper and semi-commercial printers across China.

Goss's chief operating officer, Jochen Meissner, said: "Printers worldwide are facing challenges from competition and new media.

Goss continues to invest in innovations and product developments that are enabling our customers to grow within the print market place.

By treating each customer as unique, we can deliver technology that maximises productivity and profitability." Goss will also be exhibiting in Shanghai its Automatic Transfer (AT) and Autoplate technology, gapless blankets, pinless folders, the Goss Digirail digital inking system and Goss Web Center workflow management system.

Latest developments such as the Flexible Printing System (FPS) and Goss's print finishing and newspaper packaging technologies will also be introduced at the show.
