Successful Italian Show For Goss With Press Orders
Goss's continuing success in the Italian market was underlined at Italy's international print show, Grafitalia from May 9 -13.
The flagship Dazhong Daily newspaper is the mouthpiece for the Shandong Provincial Party but the group also has a number of other titles and periodicals, including Qilu Evening News, Rural Dazhong Daily, Life Daily, Mid Shandong Morning News, Peninsular City News, Economic Herald, City Sun, The Youth Journalist and Pioneer.
Mr Ma at Dazhong News Group commented: "The Dazhong Daily is a large-scale comprehensive newspaper for the Shandong province and in recent years we have concentrated on developing our strength through the launch of a number of smaller newspapers to cover all areas of interest for our readers.
This has enabled us as a group to become one of the leaders amongst Provincial Party newspapers nationwide." He added: "Our popularity has led to an increase in circulation, which is why we have chosen to invest in new press equipment.

Goss Universal Press To Meet Italian Print Demand
Martano of Lecce (Italy) has invested in a shaftless Goss Universal 75 press with 620mm cut-off.
We have a good history with Goss brand presses - both Community and Universal - and are impressed with the service we receive from Goss so decided to upgrade with the latest in the Universal press range." The Universal 75 press is a two plate around, eight page press system capable of running at 75,000 copies per hour, said Goss.
With the flexibility and economy of a single-width press but the throughput of a double-width machine, the Universal 75 is said to be suitable for a number of applications, including newspaper, directory and semi-commercial products.
The new press will be configured as four four-high towers, two 2:3:3 folders and six splicers and will have a maximum print capacity of 24 broadsheet pages - eight full colour and 16 spot colour pages.
The order also includes motorised ink keys, circumferential and lateral register controls and Goss level two press controls.
Once installed, the new press will also be printing the Qilu Evening News, which has a circulation of 1.2 million in the Shandong province.
Mr Ma commented further: "Our current Universal press is running very well.
The addition of the Universal 75 will enhance our production facility and give us greater capacity to further expand our portfolio of printed products.".
