New Press Boosts Turkish Newspaper Colour Capacity
Merkez Yayin Holdings in Istanbul (Turkey) is increasing its colour capacity and flexibility by installing seven shaftless Goss Colorliner printing units.
Increased colour capacity will be gained with the addition of one rebuilt Goss Colorliner tower and one rebuilt Goss HT tower.
John Chambers, Goss's sales director for the UK and Ireland, commented: "Scotsman Publications is taking maximum advantage of its original investment through Goss Lifetime Support services that can extend the life of its press.
Since this is a Goss press, we know the original specification and can make the transition as smooth as possible." To minimise disruption to daily production at the Edinburgh site, the project will be executed in a number of carefully planned phases and is expected to be complete by summer 2007.
