Web Press To Produce Multiple Formats In
China

A new shaftless Goss M-500 commercial web press is bound for Chinese media group Fung Choi Media Group (FCM Group) which will install it at its current facility in Guangzhou.

The new press at the facility will consist of four Goss M-500 units with one web, a Contiweb zero-speed splicer, JF40 folder and Ecotherm dryer The Goss Omnicon control system and Goss Web Centre workflow system for job preparation and data collection will also be supplied

The FCM Group's printing business includes commercial and publication printing, with products including brochures, leaflets, posters, catalogues, calendars, advertising and promotional material for the fast moving consumer goods industry, as well as magazines, books and periodicals for publishers.

The project team at FCM commented: "The Goss M-500 press will provide high print quality and efficiency to our facility and enable us to produce multiple formats for a wide range of printing jobs that we undertake for our customers.

Based on proven Goss technology we are confident that this investment will increase the flexibility and efficiency of our business and enable us to attract more customers to use our services." Customers of the Fung Choi Media Group include China Network Communication Group Corporation, China Telecommunications Corporation, Procter and Gamble (China), China Mengniu Dairy, Haier Group Corporation and Tsingtao Brewery.

Fung Choi Media Group Limited and its group of companies is a growing media and marketing group with more than 10 years of development history.

Established in 1993 as a printing company, the group's activities are now conducted through its various subsidiaries and joint controlled entities across Guangzhou, Qingdao, Hong Kong and Singapore.
