Goss Shows M-600 Web Press At Italian Exhibition
Goss commercial web presses, including an M-600 press will be on display in Hall 11 on stand D30 at the Grafitalia 2006 exhibition in Italy.
Alan Padbury, group managing director of Westdale Printing Group, explained: "Westdale has a philosophy of investing to satisfy customer needs.
The business is driven by demand for high-quality print and a flexible service that delivers on specification, on time and on quote.
We selected the M600 press for premium quality, productivity and versatility to assist us in delivering this high level of service.
The considerable waste reduction features will make it ideally suited to print shorter runs competitively." He continued: "Westdale offers the most comprehensive and versatile printing service in Wales.
The flexibility of the M600 press and its ability to efficiently produce a diverse range of product formats across varying print runs will help us maintain our position." With growing concern for the environment, Westdale added that it selected the Goss Ecocool dryer for its low-energy and pollution control features.
John Chambers, sales director UK and Ireland for Goss International, said: "Energy consumption can be reduced by up to 30 per cent when compared with a conventional dryer.
We have had a long standing relationship with Westdale Press and I am delighted the company gave us the opportunity of working with it in this exciting phase of development." Printing leaflets, brochures, reports, accounts, catalogues and prospectuses, the majority of Westdale's clients come from the governmental, mail order, publishing and tourism sectors.
Padbury concluded: "Our business operates in intensely competitive markets and with this investment Westdale is once again proud to be showing our commitment to our customers.
If you make working with a supplier pleasurable then customer loyalty can occur." Founded in 1984, Westdale Printing Group started as a sheetfed printer and entered the web offset arena three years later with an eight-page Heidelberg Web 8 press.
In 1997 the company invested in a second web press and now the M600 press is scheduled for installation at its site in Cardiff.
