New Web Press To Help Target More
Contract Print
In seeking to increase its colour and pagination capacity to win more contract print work, Guangdong China Sunshine Media has bought in a Goss Newsliner press.
According to Goss the new 4 x 2 shaftless press will print at speeds up to 75,000 copies per hour (cph) and will be configured as four four-high towers with two 2:3:3 jaw folders and six reelstands The press will be capable of printing 96 broadsheet pages, with 32 pages in full colour and spot colour capability on the remaining 64 pages

The press configuration has been selected to provide Guangzhou Daily, which owns Guangdong China Sunshine Media, with greater opportunities to produce a more diverse range of newspapers, especially for the contract printing market.
Guangzhou Daily has invested in Goss presses for a number of years, including Universal machines.
The latest press will join the existing presses in November.

One of the largest magazine and catalogue printers in North America has ordered two new gapless web presses and three finishing systems from Goss International.
