Gapless Blanket Press Bound For Melbourne Printer

A Goss International product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team Dec 12, 2007

To ensure high levels of print quality and efficiency, AIW Printing in Melbourne (Australia) has ordered an 80-page Goss Sunday 4000 press for its printing facility.

The Sunday 4000 will have a gapless blanket and the press will join several other Goss heatset web presses that AIW has installed over the last six years.

Peter Clark, the chief executive officer of AIW Printing, said: "AIW Printing employs the absolute latest in technology and automation available in pre-press, press and finishing.

Our latest investment in the Goss Sunday 4000 press reflects this philosophy and will ensure that we continue to deliver the highest levels of print quality, productivity and efficiency." Producing newspapers, magazines and catalogues, AIW Printing began trading in 2000 and it has secured work with many of Australia's largest print buyers, said the company.

AIW Printing was also the first web offset printer to be awarded the gold award in the printing innovation category at Australia's annual national print awards organised by The Printing Industries Association of Australia.
