11th Web Press In 10 years For Expanding

The 11th new Goss web press in 10 years has been installed by Trend Offset Printing, a web printer with three operations in the USA.
Now in production at Trend Offset's south eastern production facility in Jacksonville, Florida, the eight-unit, two-web M-600 press is fitted with a Goss Contiweb CS splicer, Ecocool dryer and JF-55 folder as well as the company's Web Center workflow and control package, as well as the Autoplate automatic plate changing system Trend Offset's press crews completed operator and maintenance training programmes at Goss's New Hampshire site

Goss International announced that it will have a major presence at Drupa 2004 in May and will present future concepts to drive print.
The printer said they believe that the combination of four-page-wide and six-page-wide Goss presses at three strategically located sites nationwide gives the company a common, versatile operation to produce print quality, whilst maintaining productivity and make-ready efficiency.

The M-600 is world renowned as a premium publication press and the new system adds capacity for us to print high-quality magazines, catalogues, annual reports and advertising." According to Goss, Trend installed its first M-600 press in 1998 at its Los Alamitos, California, plant.
The company now operates Goss V-30, M-600 and gapless Sunday 2000 presses with a total of 100 printing units.
With the latest installation, Trend is claimed to have the second-highest concentration of M-600 presses in North America.
