Drupa Preview
Previewing its new M-600 Folia press, Goss International demonstrated the macnine to sales representatives and dealers at its Montataire (France) operation before the press's debut at Drupa 2008.
Goss added that the M-600 Folia will be in full operation on its stand in hall 17 at Drupa 2008 The M-600 Folia press is said to be designed as a high-productivity web offset press for producing up to B1-format sheeted products
The system utilises Goss's M600 printing units, sheetfed inks and new sheeter technology developed in partnership with VITS to print on coated stocks without a dryer.
During the demonstration the press printed 30,000 perfected sheets per hour.
Jean Claude Pautrat, Goss International's product management director, said: "It was a very tough audience at the demonstration as they have to believe in the press and be able to promote it with confidence.
Their satisfaction with the demonstration was a key milestone.
