Goss to sell Akiyama presses in the US

Goss International has integrated Akiyama International's North American organisation with its American operations.

The company will assume responsibility for sales and support of Akiyama's products, including Jprint presses, in the US and Canada.

Akiyama International is based near Tokyo, Japan, which is its primary press manufacturing facility.

The company's Jprint and Mega Jprint sheetfed models feature technology that perfects without reversing the sheets.

Akiyama also manufactures Supertech, Extreme and Bestech press models for commercial and packaging applications.

Under the agreement, several members of the Akiyama sales and service team in North America have joined Goss International.

Goss's US parts and service operation now supports printing companies operating more than 800 Akiyama presses in North America.

Independent dealers will continue to market Akiyama's products in some regions of the US and Canada, working collaboratively through Goss International.

Akiyama International and Goss International are both affiliated with Shanghai Electric.
