Goss's new web print sales boss for Latin America

Goss International has promoted Chuck Irons to director of sales for commercial web, print finishing and Goss Lifetime Support aftermarket products in Latin America.

Irons has 30 years' experience in commercial web applications, production enhancement and production optimisation models.

He has worked in the commercial web industry ans was, most recently, director of the eastern US commercial web sales team for Goss International.

According to Goss International Latin America is a growing market that provides opportunities for innovative print production system.

Irons said that the Goss portfolio, including M-500, M-600, M-800 and Sunday web presses, as well as Pacesetter saddlestitchers, are suitable for the requirements of the market and have been proven throughout Latin America.

He commented: 'The diverse range of printers and publishers in Central America and South America seem to share a passion for innovation, enterprise and self-determination, and this fits perfectly with our philosophy.

Irons will report to Ernesto Oliveira, vice president of sales for Goss International in Latin America.
