A Hewlett-Packard product story

City of London printer CDP has invested in an HP Indigo press 1000 to complement the company's DICOpress 500.

City of London printer CDP has invested in an HP Indigo press 1000 to complement the company's Dicopress 500, to enable both sheet fed and web fed digital production.

The intention was for the press to carry out high quality digital offset colour printing for jobs up to A3 on substrates ranging from 70gsm to 350gsm.

The company wants to use the new press for cards, leaflets, brochures, booklets and work requiring special or heavy substrates.

The firm already has an HP Designjet 5000 printer that handle posters and other large format work, and the Dicopress 500 will accommodate for banners and digital printing in sizes above A3.
