Miga Laser and Paper Boosts Productivity With its New HP Indigo Press 3000

The Miga Laser & Paper company in Barcelona has installed a six colour HP Indigo Press 3000 to enhance the services offered by its existing digital press suite.

It marks a huge vote of confidence in the latest HP Indigo digital press technology.

Juan Garcia-Luque, director general of Miga, said: ?We like digital technology because of its speed, versatility, immediacy, and because it allows us to complete short runs in full colour with a commercial quality.

Virtually all of the jobs we currently undertake also demand some kind of personalisation or versioning where digital printing is the only way we can complete the job." He continued: ?We were keen to trade up from our existing HP Indigo Press 1000 to the very latest technology.

We visited trade fairs and saw the latest HP Indigo Press 3000 in action and liked it so much we decided to buy it,? said Mr Garcia-Luque.

The company was immediately struck by the quality and consistency of the new press." Mr Garcia-Luque said: ?In reality, the quality you get with the HP Indigo Press 3000 is perfectly comparable to offset.

It is a very solid advancement from the earlier generation digital presses.

The ability to quickly change paper stocks using sheet-by-sheet feeding and to choose from a wide variety of paper types and grammages was also a fundamental issue that was important when choosing this technology as opposed to other printing methods.?.
