The PVG Group based in St. Petersburg, Russia, has completed a high profile project for the global brand Nescafe using the super-wide format HP Scitex XL1500

The company produced two gigantic frontlit outdoor banners, covering a combined area of 3014.4 square metres, at its Moscow plant for the Nescafe Gold and Nescafe Classic advertising campaigns.

The banners were subsequently displayed throughout central Moscow.

Nescafe is the latest big name on PVG's impressive client list, which includes world famous brands such as Coca-Cola, Procter, and Gamble and Heineken.

Alla Nikolaeva, Chief Executive of the Marketing Department at PVG Group said, "This project has helped cement our leading position in Russia's outdoor advertising market".

"It was challenging because of the sheer volume of material we had to print, for a customer who demands the highest standards".

"We knew from experience that the HP Scitex XL1500 would be capable of undertaking this task".

"The machine prints at a high speed, and the quality of output is excellent." PVG prints the outdoor advertising for all its key clients on its four HP Scitex Grands and HP Scitex XL1500.

The HP Scitex XL1500 has two modes to suit the various applications that PVG produce.

It prints up to 124 square metres per hour (1333 square feet per hour), increasing throughput and cutting delivery times to provide fast return on investment.

Alla Nikolaeva said, "We have developed an excellent relationship with the company since we first installed a Scitex Vision Idanit in 1997 and this helped us with our decision to invest in the HP Scitex XL1500".

"The machine's ability to print in various sizes, on almost any format or media, including double-sided and backlit, means we can use it for a wide variety of applications.".
