Prints produced on a range of HP media are said to resist fading for over one year un-laminated and over three years laminated when displayed in or near a window.

Premium Vivid Colour Backlit Film is a new micro-porous coated media designed for backlit applications and Self-adhesive Gloss Polypropylene is a film suitable for creating vibrant, photo-realistic images for store displays, banners and posters, said HP.
In addition, the Designjet Z6100's longer roll support (up to 175m) and high-capacity 775ml original HP ink cartridges are said to provide an economical, time-saving approach to long print runs.
HP has also introduced new jumbo rolls for its Universal Inkjet Bond Paper and Universal Instant-dry gloss and semi-gloss photo papers, allowing for overnight unattended printing with the Designjet Z6100 printer series and HP Vivera pigment inks.
Santi Morera, vice president and general manager of HP EMEA graphic arts, said: "HP is continuously looking for ways to reinvigorate the printing market and excite customers with new printing possibilities.
The Designjet Z6100 printer series is not only the PSP, GIS and AEC market's new system for fast and high quality large-format printing needs but also another step in delivering on our promise to enable customers to do more with a broad portfolio of intuitive, scalable systems.".
