HP Press Helps Self-Adhesive Label

Self-adhesive label producer Label Tech has installed an HP Indigo press ws4500 to develop its range of products for the FMCG, pharmaceutical, IT, healthcare and industrial markets.
The Indigo press ws4500 provides short-run labels and features what are claimed to be some of the most recent advancements in digital printing technology, including on-the-fly colour switching that enables users to switch jobs, improving productivity on short-run work The press will be used by the Dublin (Ireland) company to develop and print more challenging applications from new and existing customers with the ability to print on-demand, on a range of substrates with personalisation capabilities, said HP

Label Tech operates a range of equipment, including flexo presses and an A B Graphics' Digicon finishing line.
Costello said: "Digital printing is vital to the growth and expansion of the print industry today.
New challenges are easier to meet using up to date technology such as digital.
Customer requirements are changing all the time, using digital print technology these demands can be met with little effort." The investment Label Tech is making in digital technology and process improvements will enable it to improve production and develop a greater choice of on-pack technology and packaging for consumers and manufacturers alike, he believed.
And he explained: "The label industry is changing rapidly and we embrace such changes.
Digital printing is essential to our growth as a business and the HP Indigo press will enable us to evolve as a company.".
