Producing a range of services and products, the HP Indigo presses are claimed to enable customers to provide cost-effective printing with the added benefit of variable data capabilities for security and other special features.
Workflow systems from approved HP partner, Esko and finishing from A B Graphic, optimise those applications.
Nikki Peacock, HP's UK and Ireland marketing manager for Indigo digital presses, said: "The importance of effective workflow systems and finishing equipment cannot be overstated when looking at getting the most out of a digital press.
Esko and A B Graphic are leaders in their markets and this equipment allows maximum press uptime for customers." Digital technology in the printing industry focuses largely on reducing downtime and optimising production, she added.
A B Graphic's new digital laser cutting system, the Omega Sabre Extreme, which has no tooling, is said to provide minimal make-ready time required.
The Sabre Extreme can produce finished labels straight from digital production inline or near-line.
A B Graphics sales director, Tony Bell, said: "The new digital laser cutting system is an innovative piece of equipment and we are confident that it will increase profitability for our customers.
The time spent in ordering conventional tooling and getting the dies set up is just not compatible with the high-speed, high-efficiency nature of digital production." And he explained: "Customers at our open house were able to witness first hand the speed, accuracy and simplicity of this equipment alongside our other digital and traditional finishing equipment.
The whole range of Omega, Vectra and Digicon systems are produced to cater to the specific needs of each customer.".
