Hewlett-Packard has announced two entry-level digital printers and two new Indigo presses.
The HP Indigo ws4500 press is claimed to have the ability to print personalised label and packaging items, which can add value to the clients' products, at a commercially viable cost.
Robert Lee, sales director at Tamar Labels, explained: "The new HP Indigo press ws4500 will complement our first digital press and our conventional capabilities.
We have an integrated management information system that works seamlessly with the digital presses, to ensure total control and efficiency throughout the sales, pre-press, workflow, despatch and invoicing processes." The Indigo ws4500 digitlal press is claimed to be capable of producing cost-effective labels using a variety of substrates.
The seven-colour press uses liquid-based HP Electro Ink to achieve the widest possible colour gamut, which ensures colour consistency and optimum print quality, factors that are critical in attracting large brands to work with Tamar Labels, commented HP.
To continue development and capitalise on opportunities for sustainable growth in the digital printing market Tamar Labels uses HP's business development tools, regularly utilising the My HP Indigo portal to order inks online.
Representatives from the company are also planning to attend HP's marketing courses - Maximising the Digital Opportunity and Digital Selling Skills - launched under the company's Capture business success programme.
Lee added: "HP technology and support services have been vital for the growth of our company and have helped us become one the UK's fastest growing narrow web label producers.
HP provide us with a total service to all our printing and business development requirements and the dedicated account management is second to none.".
