Third Indigo Press Enables Label Print

Springfield Solutions has installed a third HP Indigo ws4500 digital press to expand its digital printing services and to attract new customers.

The presses are said to be able to quickly print as few as one label up to thousands with the optimum print quality, helping Springfield to produce work within tight time frames and to ensure that its customers' products reach the marketplace quickly.
Ian Lemon, the managing director of Springfield Solutions, explained: "We completed our first job using variable data and we expect to see this service grow this year.
We are also exploring moving in to low volume for flexible packaging and are planning to develop digital anti-counterfeiting systems using our HP Indigo presses in the near future." And he added: "Our digital capabilities have helped us win new contracts and many of our new customers are interested in our digital services.
HP helps us to provide a digital print service for our customers' needs and we can now produce short-run work efficiently.
Our digital presses print on a wide range of substrates and can match our lithographic presses on colour reproduction and print quality.".
