HP's Entry Level and Indigo Presses Emerge
Hewlett-Packard has announced two entry-level digital printers and two new Indigo presses.
The company decided to re-invest in HP Indigo technology to continue to provide offset quality, applications within short turn-around times and to offer its customers a new security data service.
The Indigo 5500 is said to print at speeds up to 4,000 four-colour 8.5-inch x 11-inch images per hour allowing Howard Digital to fulfil most of its short-run jobs within 24 hours.
Daniel Howard, a director at Howard Digital, commented: "We are a family-run business and we provide our clients with a high-level of personal customer service.
The speed and reliability of the Indigo presses allow us to meet and exceed our customers' requirements and tight deadlines.
For example we have used the presses to produce 1,000 educational booklets, in six variations, that we perfect bound and finished in-house, within just three days." To offer its clients high levels of customer service combined with offset print quality the company utilises the 'My HP Indigo' portal in a variety of ways, including ordering consumables and inks online and to register technical queries with HP's remote service support, added the company.
Howard explained: "The remote service support offered by HP is excellent.
The system is very responsive, as soon as we have registered our query we have instantly received a confirmation email from the support service and all of our questions have been fully responded to within an hour.
The HP team has been very enthusiastic about our work and has gone out of its way to respond to ensure that we can continue to provide our customers with the very highest level of service and the best quality print.".
