Imagedata Group, a digital print service provider in Yorkshire, has installed an HP Indigo 7000 digital press to reduce the time to market for its customers' printed promotional and product materials.

Imagedata Group supplies to customers in the retail, corporate and public service markets and provides short-run leaflets, guides, ticketing and point-of-sale products.

An HP Indigo 7000 digital press has been chosen by Imagedata Group for its high speed, run-length flexibility, variable data printing and spot colour capabilities.

An HP Indigo 7000 digital press has been chosen by Imagedata Group for its high speed, run-length flexibility, variable data printing and spot colour capabilities.

The Indigo 7000 has been installed in the company's production facility in Howden, Yorkshire.

David Danforth, chief executive of Imagedata Group, said: 'We chose a seven-colour HP Indigo 7000 for its high print speeds, run-length flexibility, variable data printing and spot-colour capabilities.

'All of these features are important to our business, but being able to produce more pages per minute can ensure we can meet shorter deadlines, enabling us to provide a more efficient, on-demand service that helps our customers to react quickly in response to competitor promotions,' he added.

Reaching speeds of up to 120 A4 full-colour pages per minute, the Indigo 7000 can produce more than 3.5 million colour pages per month.

Danforth continued: 'Being able to accurately reproduce colours is also critical as we have to comply with customers' brand guidelines.

'The wide colour gamut of the Indigo 7000 and HP's Professional Pantone emulation will enable us to provide consistently precise, high-quality print every time.

'The press's low energy consumption and HP's Planet Partner Recycling Programme is another important factor as it complies with our environmental policy,' he said.
