Clear Cast Vinyl for Solvent Inkjet is Launched

A Hexis SA product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team Jul 6, 2007

Hexis has launched an addition to the company's line of HexPress digital printing media with structured adhesive

The new HX102CG1 is a clear cast 50um vinyl, provided with permanent HexPress adhesive that stays repositionable during application for easy transfers without bubbles onto vehicles, corrugated surfaces and other difficult substrates.

The product features an embossed liner carrying a structured high performance adhesive and extremely conformable cast high performance vinyl film.

Fast and risk free transfers are the main benefits of the new cast film.

As the film remains repositionable during application, the user achieves substantial cost savings through more efficient application on compound curved substrates.

The film is suitable for solvent and eco-solvent inkjet printers and Hexis provides downloadable ICC colour profiles for most printers.

The HX102CG1 comes in rolls 45, 100 or 200m long and 1370mm wide.

Technical data sheets can be downloaded from their website.

Samples are available on request from Hexis or local distributors.

Hexis manufactures a wide range of graphic vinyl and digital printing media used for sign making and vehicle markings.

The company owns two manufacturing sites in France with subsidiaries in Germany and the USA.

Hexis exports over 40 percent of its turnover to over 40 countries worldwide enjoying sales of 29 million Euros in 2006.
