Walter Stahlin, who until now has been head of market network operations at Heidelberg, has taken charge of the company's Europe, Middle East and Africa sales.

Walter Stahlin, who until now has been head of market network operations at Heidelberg, has taken charge of the company's Europe, Middle East and Africa sales.

He joined Heidelberg in 1991 as sales director and was responsible for various national and international sales areas.

From 1997 to 2001, he was head of the customer support business unit.

In October 2001, he took charge of market network operations with worldwide responsibility for service, global spare parts supply, consumables, the Print Media Academy, used equipment and sales management.

As part of the restructuring of the company announced in November 2003, the worldwide sales organisation's original seven market centres were grouped into three key regions - Europe/Middle East/Africa, North and South America and Asia/Pacific.
