Heidelberg has received its third order for a M-600 web offset press at Drupa 2004 - this time from Polish printshop Poligrafia S.A.

This success comes not long after Reproprint in Prague ordered an M-600, intended to produce magazines and advertising supplements, on the very first day of the trade show.

Poligrafia was founded in 1991 and is already the third largest web offset printer in Poland.

The company produces magazines, brochures, catalogues and books for the national and international market at its Kielce and Starachowice sites.

Heidelberg said that the demand for print in Poland has grown enormously over the past 10 years, partly due to the launch of new magazines.

Another M-600 press is also to be shipped to Asia for SNP Leefung Printers in Shenzhen, China.

The press configuration features an integrated JF-44 folder, a Contiweb web splicer and an Ecoweb dryer.

Heidelberg believes the orders are further proof of the growth potential in the Eastern European and Asian markets.
