While the first Topsetter has a single cassette loader, this second has a three- cassette or 300 plate automatic feeder.
The company plans to produce a number of plates in B2 format, which will then be cut down for small offset and envelope work.
It will use KPG Electra Excel plates, supplied by Heidelberg UK, and two Gluntz and Jensen processors.
The equipment will be delivered in June.
"By producing multiple images and guillotining plates offline we can reduce the production cycle time and manage odd sizes.
Our current split is 50,000 polyester and 25,000 metal plates a year but this ratio will now be reversed.
With two Topsetters and the new Autoload system we can use one operator per shift to run both machines," said Mr Robertson.
The Rotherham (UK) company employs 160 staff and not only prints but also stores and distributes work to customers that include financial and utilities companies, such as Prudential, British Gas and BT.
The company runs 13 Heidelberg Quickmaster 46 presses as well as larger sheetfed and miniweb lines.
