Along with additional print and die cutting equipment, plus the movement of existing gluing lines, the business is also installing a high speed Heidelberg Diana Pro 114 folder gluer in its enlarged manufacturing area.
When installed, the machine will be dedicated to producing over two million narrow side wall blister packs a day.
The Diana gluer represents a significant decision by the division, said Heidelberg.

Heidelberg's New Workflows and RIP
Heidelberg will be supplying customers with the latest release of its automated prepress workflow, Prinect Printready System 1.2, with immediate effect.
Although there is a broad range of makes amongst the 50 gluing lines in M Y plants across Europe, until now the healthcare division has standardised on one make of gluer.
The decision to consider change required extensive evaluation, said John Monks, group chief executive of M Y Holdings plc.
The team which has been involved in the buying decision from evaluation and testing, through to financial approval is at Drupa to shake hands on the deal.
With John Monks is Nigel Crookes, managing director of M Y Healthcare UK Cartons, David Tinsley, commercial director and Bill Thomas the operations manager at the Portsmouth plant.
"Equipment that increases efficiency is vital in our business and this latest generation machine will increase capacity and help us to sustain our low unit cost base.
We are only switching to Heidelberg after very extensive testing and are satisfied it will improve productivity compared to our existing lines," said Nigel Crookes.
To handle work at maximum speed (650 metres a minute) M Y Healthcare has specified the Jagfeed pre-feed and the new Japack Pro case packer.
A code reader and ejection system is essential for monitoring and safeguarding product security and a two gun gluing option will also allow it to handle overhead pen gluing, a requirement with some of the small format blister pack pharmaceutical work it handles.
The full line is exceptionally long but has been adapted to align by reducing the compression section by 1.7 metres.
"Throughout the evaluation Heidelberg have been extremely responsive and my operators cannot wait to prove their skills on the new machine," said Bill Thomas.
Heidelberg has introduced a touch screen graphical user interface on the Diana Pro 114 that marries up with its other products.
In addition, there is also a radio-controlled, cable-free operating unit that allows the user to control the main functions of the machine from any location.
Although M Y Healthcare predominantly runs only a relatively small range of carton sizes and stock thickness the Diana Pro 114 is capable of handling a very broad range of boards, sizes and formats.
There are already over 4,000 Diana folder gluers in production worldwide - some in other M Y plants said Heidelberg.
M Y may be adding further to that number by closely evaluating its new Diana's performance under production conditions before considering further Diana Pro installations in other parts of the group.
John Monks said: "We have a very high regard for Heidelberg as an organisation through our long standing and widespread press experience and are very pleased they have now added carton finishing equipment of the calibre of Jagenberg to their portfolio.
We have no doubts over the pedigree of the equipment, or the after sales service and support we shall enjoy.
It is part of our supplier partnership strategy to deal with the best in all technologies, and to have strong personal links at senior level.".
