Heidelberg's Print Media Academy (PMA) is now offering a special service for national and international teaching staff and lecturers in the print industry.

'Teach and Learn' is a new internet platform for lecturers and teaching staff, for example, at vocational colleges or universities, offering a wide range of up to date training documents on pre-press, press and post-press and general industry information for use in teaching and training courses.

The objective of the new platform is to provide schools and universities with quick and easy access to current teaching materials and improve the quality of training on offer.

"Efficiency-focused training documents and up to date industry information are essential if trainees are to make a successful start to their careers.

Just as in other industries, specialist industry knowledge is a key competitive factor.

The PMA's new online service underlines its function as an industry knowledge platform that is open to all interested teaching staff," said Bernd Schopp, head of the print media academy in Heidelberg.

Access is free of charge and the presentations are available in German and English.
