Heidelberg has handed over the 10,000th Printmaster QM 46 press it has produced to Linda and Paul Ramirez of New Jersey (USA).

Heidelberg has handed over the 10,000th Printmaster QM 46 press it has produced to Linda and Paul Ramirez of New Jersey (USA).

The Ramirez printshop is a franchisee of Franchise Service, one of the largest franchise chains (including Sir Speedy, PIP, Multicopy) in the United States.

Since 1996, it has been working with a Quickmaster QM 46-2, which has already made more than 25 million prints for high-quality print jobs.

"The QM 46 is a press that offers reliable, top-class production day after day.

We will continue to develop our print services with the new and further improved Printmaster QM 46-2 as well as increase our sales figures dramatically," confirmed Paul Ramirez.

The press model celebrates its 10th anniversary this year and it is also available in A3 format as a single-colour and two-colour press.

Since 1994, the QM 46 has undergone constant developments.

Heidelberg claimed that the Printmaster QM 46 enables fast and productive processing of short and very short runs thanks to its extremely short make-ready times.

Its features include automatic plate changing with Autoplate, an automatic blanket wash-up device and automatic format setting for the feeder and delivery as well as register setting during printing.

That leads to short make-ready times, which in turn ensures cost-effective production.
