A Heidelberg product story

The readers of the American publication Digital Output Magazine have selected the Heidelberg Printmaster PM 52 as one of the top 50 products of 2004.

The readers of the American publication Digital Output Magazine have selected the Heidelberg Printmaster PM 52 as one of the top 50 products of 2004.

Over the course of the entire year, the magazine monitors and compiles reader responses to the products in the new product section, tradeshow reports and roundup articles sections.

Those responses and the corresponding hits on the Digital Output Magazine website are analysed and the products with the highest number of points yield the list of the top 50 products.

Those products are divided into capture, creation, output and finishing.

There is no ranking system within these categories.

The Printmaster PM 52 is represented in the output category as one of the top 50 products.

The key reason for the vote of confidence from the readers was the fact that offset presses from Heidelberg can be easily integrated into a digital workflow said the company.

One of the developments for that press series at Drupa 2004 was the move towards the networked printshop.

The Prinect Online Kit and Prinect Classic Center remote inking and register control system are said to provide the option of integrating the Printmaster PM 52 from the multicolour presses upwards, into the workflow online said Heidelberg.

Customer interest also demonstrated that the Printmaster PM 52 satisfies user needs, added the company.

The Printmaster PM 52 is positioned between the Printmaster GTO 52 and the Speedmaster SM 52.
