Heidelberg will be at the sixth International Printing Technology Exhibition in Beijing - China Print, to show a cross-section of the company's complete product portfolio.

An exhibition stand of 3,600 square metres, will be the stage for displaying and demonstrating products from pre-press to post-press for packaging and label printers, industrial printers and small and mid-size printshops.

The exhibits will be rounded off by a presentation of the Prinect workflow, the modular software from Heidelberg for controlling and optimising the production process.

Gunter Zorn, head of the Asia region at Heidelberg said: "This is without doubt set to be the largest and most important China Print in the history of the trade show.

China in particular has exhibited high growth rates in recent years and forecasts for the future predict that the graphic arts industry will experience its strongest growth in this region." Given that trend, Heidelberg said it has been meticulous in preparing the groundwork for this year's China Print.

In addition to the products for the various sectors, the focus at the trade show will also be on remote service - being presented in web-based form for the first time in China - environmental topics, consumables and replacement parts supply.

With its own hall (Hall 2) and as the largest single exhibitor, Heidelberg believes it is well prepared for China Print.
