Prinect Hybrid Screening is said to combine the benefits of AM and FM screening technologies, according to Heidelberg.
The new screening method, which is now on show at Ipex 2006, enables higher screen resolutions and finer reproduction of detail in print, all of which enhance the overall print image quality, said the company.
Prinect Hybrid Screening is available for the Suprasetter family of thermal platesetters, the Prosetter series with violet technology, and the Topsetter.
Heidelberg added that it now integrates all screening processes in the Prinect workflow.
