It is claimed to produce a range of carton types and has a new safety and automation concept, integrated gluing and quality control.

It processes board for folding cartons with grammages ranging from 200gsm to 900gsm and N, F, E and B flute corrugated board.

Depending on the application, it can reach speeds of up to 650 metres (2, 132.5 feet) per minute, according to Heidelberg.

At those speeds it can process up to 200,000 cartons per hour.

The Diana X 115/135 is now on show at Ipex 2006.
